After several trips the past couple years with the F250's, running them on the ragged edge of their payload ratings, and dealing with the ass wiggles in the winds and whoops on the roads, I decided to upgrade to a F350DRW. 6.7, 10 speed auto. 3.55 gears, 4wd. Aluminum wheels, power package, cruise, 8" radio, etc...basically an XLT. Had to drive 3hrs to get it as the Ford dealers around DFW have all eaten dicks and have gone insane with their 5-10k markups. You take it or leave it and they give no shits either way. Taco Bell order takers work harder.
Ford sent me a 2k rebate for a new SuperDuty, so I used that.
Dealer out in Burkburnett worked for the deal, kept searching for a truck and kept me updated along the way. Found one on Saturday, we agreed over the phone on numbers. He had a BW hitch installed and I went this morning to pick it up. Spent less than an hr there total.

Sweet looking trucking. Towing should be much better with the DRW's. Good luck with it.

Front 2 windows had basically no tint at all from the factory. Got ceramic tint done today all around.

The fifth wheel is looking a little small now that you have the dually diesel. I think a 3 axle fifth wheel is in order lol.

I'll get the BW companion in there the next day or so, get it setup for this truck and get some pics of it hooked up. It'll show a better perspective of size then.

That is a nice hitch. It's amazing how well a fifth wheel tows compared to a straight trailer like mine. I miss my Holiday Rambler 5th wheel.

The longer wheelbase also helps with a smoother ride.

First tow was nice. Far more stable feeling with the DRW. No wiggle/waggle in the rear end at all. Tracks straight down the road.

Nice. It's nice to be able to enjoy the drive and not have the trailer behind you drift. So much better with a dually.
