You guys probably know as much as anyone about this but they say our day of reckoning is coming. Our government agencies, utilities, oil pipeline companies, hospitals, biopharm companies, meat processors, etc may not be ready and we could be in for more challenges.

They say the best defense is 2FA and FIDO keys. I went through my accounts this weekend to make sure we at least had 2FA enabled. Gawd knows Putin won't be happy with EU/USA sanctions.

There was an interesting Lex Fridman youtube video on the subject. It could be pretty gnarly stuff unless one is living off grid.

No telling what all shit is going to hit the fan with Clown Show Joe at the helm.

Huge spike in energy prices for one. And once the cyber attacks start, everything else is on the table at that point. Crashed electric grids will be just the beginning.

I'm wondering about a Generac home backup generator. Probably good for storm backups but also assumes natural gas pipelines aren't disrupted. I've seen them at Costco.

Brother just had one installed at his place. Runs off propane.
Automatically starts itself and runs for 15mins each Wednesday.

Said they had someone hit a power pole near him, knocked out their electricity. Said he only noticed because he heard the generator start and stop again when power was restored.

Best thing we could do for a variety of reasons is to open up drilling again. Lower price, hurt Putin and supply our allies. But thats too much common sense for those in charge right now.
