Silverado EV

They haven't announced a catchy name yet. Maybe that changes with the Jan 5 announcement. I'm sure there will be lots of interest and a long waiting list. At 1pm PT/10AM ET you can put one on reserve.

They initially planned the GM EV production as follows: GM Hummer (Fall 21),
Cadillac LYRIQ (1st half 2022), GMC Hummer SUV (Early 2023), and then the Silverado.

They had to bring the Avalanche look back for some reason. Maybe to match the EV hummer?

The optioned Silverado WT (work truck) will be in production first (Spring 2023). I think the entry level WT hits production later in 2023. The top end RST in Fall 2023.

All have a estimated minimum 400 mile max range. The WT has a 0-60 of 4.5sec, 8k lbs tow, 1.2k lbs payload, and some new cool features including UltraCruise hands free driving (hard to believe).

Of course local stealerships are already talking about their planned markups.
