The entitled expectations from a vocal minority are getting crazy. There seems to be no end to the demands. And yet the double standards of the law are incredible. Jessie Smollett gets off free. The black teenager that killed a promising Barnard college student gets 18 months under state custody. That'll teach them.

More than ever the urban crime-prone are more apt to push the buttons of police. They already risk their lives daily in the crime ridden inner cities so why not risk their lives in the presence of a cop when you can get a handsome settlement or become a martyr. Get drunk, drive a car, fall asleep in car while disrupting a business, fail sobriety test, refuse arrest, assault two cops, take an officer's taser, run, and point/shoot taser at him. And the sad truth is there's no shortage of these anecdotes. The inmates are running the asylum and the police and politicians are letting it happen. The Dems want to see things stirred up for more voter turn out and the Repubs are afraid of saying anything as No Other Lives Matter (NOLM).

Will anyone ever want to strap on a uniform and try enforcing the laws?

This won't end well and the left will probably have control of the Congress, Senate and White House for the next go around.

I believe the Democrats have screwed themselves. A few liberal cities may side with the movements going on now, but the rest of the country is not buying into it. The police are under siege, calls to defund the police are a joke. I'm just waiting for Seattle to ask for Federal help to get their city back. I say let it annex, then have them fund themselves, and get passports to enter the U.S.

Next they will push to change the faces on all US money denominations since all were connected in some way to slavery. Gotta wonder how they work through the logic of the Democrats being the pro slavery party back then.
