1975 Honda xl350

I picked up a 1975 Honda XL350 last year it has 1500 miles and in cherry condition .

Those were nice bikes. I wanted One with a silver tank.

What year was the silver tank?

Had a 1972 XL250 with silver tank.
Was a reliable bike.

My buddy had a '72 XL350 like this:


My twin uncles had bought both bikes new in '72 and almost 20 yrs later we were riding both together again. We bought our 250 from my uncle and the 350 some how was in my buddies dads possession.

Around 1992 we bought an XL250 and a Yamaha 175. A guy bought them to ride alongside his kids. I guess he only went out once or twice as they both had 18 miles on them. They were fun. Sold them for a profit around 8 years later. They were like new. I washed and kept them waxed, garage kept.

Those were the good ole' days. One of my first dirt bikes was a new 1973 Honda Elsinore CR125M. I bought it with my paper route money.
