Hijack away...no one cares around here about that.

Gonna install the Airlift airbags on the Ram this weekend. I preassembled the bags, so the install itself should go pretty fast. Installing the Wireless One compressor along with it too.

Backup camera came in too. Probably install it at the same time while I'm wallowing around under the truck running wires and air lines.

I had a leak on my trailer. It was an elbow on the Pex. I had to cut a hole in the bottom to get at the elbow. It is some kind of PVC that insulates the trailer and keeps the lines warm in the winter. Not a fun job to do on the road. I changed out the elbow with sharkbite, has been leak free since.

Got the airbags installed last Saturday. Humidity and heat were crazy so I didn't get to the Wireless One onboard air yet. Gonna try to do that tomorrow.

Bags work well though.

I have only driven semi's with airbags. In hindsight they sound like a good idea for the RV. I have drive 1K towing the trailer and although the airbags would be nice, if I installed them when the truck was new it would have been a good idea. Now at 8 years old and 82,000 miles on my truck I won't install them. Maybe on the next one, if there is a next one.

The bags softened up the stiff ride even when the truck is empty. Run 5lbs of pressure in them when not towing or hauling and air them up accordingly as the load dictates.

Nice. My 2500 HD's were both a stiff ride. My Dodge would hop in the rear, it felt like a foot over when hitting bumps in the road.

Onboard compressor is installed and working. Rearview camera is installed and working too.
I can air up and air down by the click of a button on the remote. And it maintains the air pressure when you load and unload the truck to what pressure its set at.

Took a bit to get it installed on Saturday. Noah was herding animals through the epic rainfall, had to work around that.

It should make a more comfortable ride whether under load or empty.

Fixed the drain leak on the trailer this weekend too. Filled the sinks up after I glued in the drain pipe, pulled the plug and let it go, also put another 5 gallons down it. Didn't see any leaks.

Taking the camper out this Friday. I'll put it through everything one more time, then I'll reseal the outdoor faucet with new tape and call it done if it all checks out.

I don't I owned a travel trailer, fifth wheel, or a Class C that I bought new come with everything working. Sinks and showers lead the list of fixes I had to do while new. I would rather fix a leaking sink than bring it back to the dealer and waste the time going there waiting and taking it back home.

Nice air bag setup pup!
If I get a replacement for my old crewcab I'd like to go that route too.

Our sons $70K triple slide toyhauler had the bedroom slide mechanism seize up, just a couple months after he bought it. Was only open/closed very little.

Over a year later, still not fixed. With him working as a traveling lineman he can't let it sit for months. Due to its size many RV dealers don't want work on it because it will tie up most of their shop. Still has the hydraulic issue where the main slides will drift open going down the road. Has to install rods/boards between the slides and outer walls to stop it. Has to be the landing gear trying to drift down back feeding into the manifold. He unhooked all the solenoids and it still did it.

So, minor water leaks a blesssing!

My Holiday Rambler 5th wheel came with rods to stop it from opening while traveling.

Towed the hauler out to Gilmer and back. Went most of the way this time on I30. Airbags improved the towing ride and handling 100%.

Great. Glad it made such a big difference.
I have a neighbor that has a triple axel fifth wheel that is over 38'. He tows it without a problem with a 2 year old Dodge with the Cummins. Once I go that big, I want a dually.

Friend traded his 2500 for a dually. Has a 36ft toyhauler that carries a 4 seat RZR inside it, and a 2 seat RZR 570 on the bed. Has one of the CM flatbeds on it. Has the better Aisin transmission in it too, engine has more torque from the factory also.

Last weekend of Sept out at Barnwell Mountain off road park, they hold a big cancer fundraiser. Lots of vendors like 4wheelparts are sponsors and donate to a Saturday night raffle.

Wife won a blanket embroidered with the name of the annual fundraiser on it.

Buddy with the dually won a 2.5" lift kit for his jeep and 4, any size, any model, BF Goodrich tires. Basically BOTH of the big prizes.
