Bought the boy a nice clean 08 Chevy Cobalt today for his HS grad present. Bright Monkey Ass Red with tinted windows. 1LT model. Pwr windows, auto but no cruise control. But he's not a highwayman so that don't matter. Pretty slick looking basic transportation. Ain't gonna win any races, but it's efficient and will do the job.

I have it sitting out front and he's completely oblivious to it so far. Teenagers these days are lost in their own little worlds.

On another note, already sold his 98 Monte Carlo to a woman at work that needed a car for her daughter that is graduating this year too. Got 2 grand for the old jewel, still only has 64500 miles on it. Runs like a top. Could have gotten more, but she's a single parent so I cut her some slack.

Nice! A newer vehicle for him also makes less work for you LOL. It's nice to be able to do that for your son, he will appreciate it.

Nice car and should be very affordable transportation for him.

Now back on topic, what about that SWB Chevy on the other side of the street....
