FCA RESPONDS TO THE EPA ALLEGATIONS OF EMISSIONS CHEATING WITH RAM 1500 AND JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE ECODIESELS

FCA US has spent months providing voluminous information in response to requests from EPA and other governmental authorities and has sought to explain its emissions control technology to EPA representatives. FCA is one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in Mexico. I don't think Trump will be very accommodating.

If they did it, they should pay just as VW and any other manu did and should.

The EPA needs be a monitoring and enforcement agency and not a rule setting agency. It has far too much power centralized in the executive branch vs where it should be, the legislative branch. Congress and only Congress should make the laws and regulations.

True! FCA is on a shoestring budget. Pickups are their cash cow and they are losing out on Ram and Jeep EDs. And it's expensive to move factories and retrain staff but maybe that's the art of the deal. As Pink Floyd says 'kick em when their up, kick em when their down.'
