Getting the RZR ready for some wheeling

Installing a few more parts over the weekend for next weeks Men's Offroad Trip out to Barnwell Mountain Rec Area in East TX.
Installing new 4340 chromoly axles, high clearance A-Arms up front and high clearance radius rods in the back. I had already replaced the stock 29" tires with new 32" tires and beadlock wheels. Installed a pair of 6-point harnesses in place of the shoulder belts.

That looks like fun.

Upgraded axles and high clearance front a-arms installed over the weekend. Would have installed the rear radius rods, but my special order bushing kit wasn't so special, they sent the wrong kit.

Nice upgrades. I haven't ridden one of those since in a while. Much has improved. My goal was always to buy a used one with lots of upgrades. Then I learned there isn't much open area around me. It was so much easier years ago. Maybe I need to convince the family we need to move.

Are the ozark yeti clones from Walmart ? I was wondering how they hold up , they look pretty sturdy and actually affordable .

Dangit. Now I have to find a reason to make a DFW trip that the wife wont be suspicious about.

The Ozarks are from Wal-Mart. They hold up fine. No problems with mine. Cant be beat for the money

We go several times a year out to Gilmer in East TX, bit NE of Tyler. Haul the camper and RZR out there for the weekend or make a long weekend out of it. Going again over Easter weekend.

No one broke anything this year. Too damn slick to get any grip, the axles were never in any danger of being twisted.

Too bad my wifes back is so bad, don't think she can ride anymore.

These are far, far easier on the back than a Jeep. Lots more forgiving on the bumps.

Jeep is out of the question for her.
I figure she'll need surgery before too long. L5 disc gone and L5 vertebrae is 1/2 the thickness of a healthy one.

Friend in Michigan UP tells me the DNR is FINALLY clamping down on atv/utvs with loud aftermarket pipes. Imagine snowmobiles too.
