I still want to pick up one of those and go through it. They are becoming ignorant on the prices for them though.

It is a 1985 Chevy C10 with a 305 and the 700r4 transmission with a rock solid body , no rust other that the surface rust on the roof and doors I am thinking about having some door stencil door art made and sand blast off the paint instead of painting it and letting the wording rust , I think it would look kind of neat .

Older pickup prices are getting pretty pricey. I've been window shopping and some are pretty reasonable and then you get a nutball wanting twice what its really worth.

I wonder how much would one spend to completely restore it.

Thats the style of pickup I learned to drive in. My uncle has a similar one, stepside, that has been parked for as long as I can remember. I always liked the looks of the stepsides. I want to take it form him sometime but I have nowhere to put it.

It would really look pretty when it is completely restored.
