Breaking in some AR's Empty
PostSubject: Breaking in some AR's   Breaking in some AR's EmptyJuly 18th 2016, 11:38 am

My oldest brother bought some land and is having a new house built on it out in the country a few miles east of Teague TX.

So we sat on the new back porch and killed a few cedar trees that will be getting cut out anyway.

AR's and 1911's .... we had a pretty decent pile of brass at the end of the day. Joe, me, Jeff and Tim from left to right. Jeff is the one building the house.

We determined our weapons were all faulty. Not a single one assaulted anyone.

I had my AR's out for a run today. I was conservative and only shoot what my mags will hold. So It was close to 175 rounds. We have a 15 round magazine limit. I have a mix of 10 and 15 round mags that I use for target, then I keep 8 - 15 rounds mags with 62 grain AP rounds home for self defense.

At the least, clean it and make sure to wipe it with a good gun oil.
