I picked up some Mil Surplus lights to mount on the Jeep.

They are 24v halogen type lamps in them, so I took those out, and installed some 12v LED's that fit that size.
Also found some Packard style connectors so I could use the existing terminals on them.

Added a new bumper/tire carrier that works single action with the tailgate too.

I'm either going to cut down my OEM fender flares or do some aftermarket flat fenders for a bit more clearance. Haven't made up my mind on which yet. Mostly done after that.....I think.

Looking really good!
Are you going to leave those lights flat olive-drab, or paint them body color?

Rustoleum makes a flat greenish paint in their "Camo" line that matches up real nice, I might use that instead of doing the exact match and clearcoat. I kinda like the flat look of them.

Real nice, they would go right on my 24 volt M-37.

My son has decided that he will go half day to vocational school in September for his senior year. He is going to take auto body collision. The teacher likes the students to be able to work on a vehicle they own. I have been thinking of having him strip the M-37 paint which is glossy, back to the flat green paint. This way I can have the bed taken off and finished the way I always wanted it.
