| Fred Diaz Moves from Ram Trucks to Nissan - Quote :
- Fred Diaz was president and CEO of the Ram Truck brand since 2009 and of Chrysler of Mexico since 2011. His extensive knowledge of the truck market could be reflected in the next several years of Nissan products. 'We had wondered what would happen with Nissan's Titan: We're sure Diaz, who was integral in the forming of the Ram Truck division, will have a big say in the issue.'
In the meantime, rumor has it that the next CEO of Ram Truck is going to be Bob Hegbloom, who is currently Director of the Ram brand. Truck Trend | |

| Wow, lots of thoughts there with his Cummins experience. Surprised he didn't have a non-compete clause in his contract. Unless Nissan is planning to really scale it up, the Nissan job seems like a pretty big demotion.

| I misread. Looks like he's managing the american nissan division.
Still a curious move. Gotta wonder why he decided to make the switch. Maybe the best time to switch is when you're at the top.

| Unless he can make actual Nissans that can work its all for not , how about getting out the sawzall and cutting the extra cab off the Frontier and filling the space with bed and while he is at it they can do the same to the Titan . | |

I know they're planning to add a work truck line to the Titan, but don't know if they mean a regular cab. Not sure about the Frontier. - Quote :
- Nissan Titan was the company's first foray into the full-size truck market. Known for its contemporary style, convenience features such as the first in-class lockable bedside storage compartment and roomy King Cab and Crew Cab models, the truck was designed to appeal primarily to personal-use customers. For the next-generation Titan, Nissan's truck team is looking at broadening the product portfolio to reach more personal-use buyers while also appealing to commercial owners and fleets.
