This is what China has been doing for years. If they cant partner with someone and steal their technology they simply hack into their systems and take it. Then they make their own copies at a much lower price and then price everyone else out of existence. They break into US govt servers for info(I'm sure Hillary's was safe), Lockheed Martin tech was stolen and now look at their newest plan, looks very familiar. And we just keep buying their junk and our govt keep doing nothing about any of it except promote it. "China wants a peaceful rise" as they build islands for landing strips in the South China Sea, "Islam is a religion of peace" as they kill, rape and burn people and religious and historical sites. Our do nothing but oppress the American people government is nearly as much to blame as foreign countries and companies are for stuff like this. Free trade is BS, we need fair trade.

I think the unions are starting to realize slowly that the Dems have sold them out to environmentalist and China.

Wal Mart is the same, I saw a small town in Oklahoma sold them their park that was for peewee football, they came in, built and opened one of the express stores and it is one that is closing, all in a matter of 8 months.

Now the town has no say on who buys that land and building as they were too damn stupid and shortsighted to protect themselves.

They made a deal with the devil and everyone gets phucked in the end, except them. Every single company that beds down with China will face the same fate.

We give away everything in this country for a few dollars. Abrabs have been buying up farm land the SW, shipping feed back to their home countries. Boeing gives out all the intellectual property to "partners" around the globe to make parts and assembles for planes. Example Japan manufacturers the wings for the 787. Countries no longer have to come steal any innovation or asset from the US, we give it away willingly so the corporate heads can pad the pocket with a few extra million.

That's how desperate the US has become.

I often wonder if CEOs and Board of Directors see the handwriting on the wall and attempt these last ditch efforts to increase profits by farming-out jobs in the hopes of being short term global puppet masters. Of course CEOs and Boards of Directors know it's short-lived and only care about their huge salaries until their worlds crumble. Unfortunately, it's no different at the government level.

Dell's announced acquisition of EMC is not any different. Starting to see the fallout. EMC cutting 2k jobs. VMWare cutting 900. This is all per-acquisition. Joe Tucci and the rest of the C level have all non-vested shares and options vest on acquisition day. Instead of Joe retiring with $150k, and getting his paid out over years, he'll leave with roughly $30M the day the acquisition completes. The rest of the C level payouts are much the same. Meanwhile the employees are left to somehow manage to bring any relevance to the acquisition and how many lives are certain to change for the worse because of this.

Some China importers sole purpose it to buy American Made goods, ship them back to China, where they are cloned and produced in mass for pennies on the dollar, re-import them and flood ebay and Amazon with their stuff.

There isn't anything they haven't ripped off. And nothing that they won't. And for the CEO's to be selling what ever is left for a Golden Parachute for one should be an offense punishable by death. They sell out entire towns and generations of families for a few million and leave thousands unemployed and a ward of the state.

There used to be a conscience and principled morality or corporate responsibility that was observed decades ago, more so with local businesses that depended on the community for labor, and as consumers.  Once the ever growing multinational conglomerates have taken over, labor here isn't really needed or there are other options.  Customers exist many times over in other countries, so went most all corporate responsibility.  Decades of money and influenced changed hands between government and elites in the private sector, thus putting the last nail in the coffin for the American worker.  Now most of America is so absolutely willfully ignorant, they can't observe the change in front of their own eyes.  Moreover they oblige by putting their neighbor on unemployment by having an unending thirst for foreign goods. Our government willfully obliged by pushing our manufacturing out of the country.  Principals and morality have now vanished from the individual American citizen, the road here only goes down.

Can't say I'll be first in line to buy the Chinese manufactured EnVision. I likely won't be the second or the third.... But make no mistake American's or better stated "citizens", well mostly, will buy it unfettered.

The issue in total is likely just another incremental step and has likely been occuring for a decade now, just the step here is final assembly. Sad.

The Chinafication of GM S-l1600

And people wonder why there's an over abundance of $8 an hour jobs, and much fewer $100k salaries.
