| Gonna get a good look at one of these, one of my brothers is supposed to be picking one up today.
A 2015 2WD Crew Cab, Short Bed, SLT in Bronze Metallic with the Cocoa/Dune leather trimmed seats.
I'll try to post up some pics if I can.

| He finally picked one up today, the first dealer he had a deal with sold the truck out from under him after telling him to drive down from Allen to Round Rock to get it. He got a call 20 miles out saying they sold it.
I drove it a bit just now. Its the most solid GM offering I've been in. Ever.
Great power for its size. Rides and handles great. Solidly put together. It checks all the boxes. Damn fine offering. We were both pleasantly surprised just how good it is.
His drive back from Killeen to Allen, fresh off the truck yesterday, 180 mile drive back...info center is showing right at 25mpg.
I'll post some pics when I can.

| I believe those truck will start taking a bite out of the full size market. Good luck for your brother on his truck. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| my business partner has a SLT canyon for a while now. I had the same impression
it seems more solidly put together than any GM I have been in. He gets good MPG ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

| Nice! SLT? Cocoa Dune two tone interior?
Did you get to drive it? On my wife's 3.6 Denali the torque converter is loose comparatively. I'm thinking this is to make up for lack of low end torque. Interested to understand if they've tuned the truck differently in the RWD configuration versus the transverse mounted 3.6/transmission.

| Very nice! ... the Colorado ain't bad but think the GMC is the better looking of the two. Hope he got a good deal- around here the dealers don't seem to discount much on the GM midsize twins, especially compared to the full size trucks which have big money on the hood. | |

I am not ready for mini vans or soccer dad crew cabs so I will be sticking with regular cabs until the truck makers stop making them then its used time , one good thing about crew cabs is they will be suplying parts for the real trucks (regular cabs) in the future .
