A year or so ago my father in law treated us to a Broadway Show in NYC. We went to a small Italian place a little bigger than my garage. They had chocolate pasta there, and a bargain at $80 a plate. My wife ordered it, I tasted it and thought it was such a waste of good money.
I like chocolate but I can't see drinking it in a Red Wine.

I figured dinner for the 4 of us was over $400, tickets to the show over $500 (Chicago), and parking all came to way over $1K. He said they do that at least 4 times a year. I think maybe I'll become a doctor. I do offer to do physicals for his female patients but he just smiles and says thanks for the offer.

He must be doing okay. He has a 44' Hunter Sailboat that he is selling because he now owns a Katy Krogen trawler that if bought new would be 1.5 million. He doesn't think about money like we have to do. He's 75, has 2 offices, likes his job. He is not eccentric, but enjoys life, mostly golf and the ocean.

If he did, I'm sure he would want to adopt a poor Canadian, like me! Just saying! Very Happy
