My mechanic Dex told me about something that does the majority of what his professional scanners do. He uses it when test driving cars. It is a free An APP from lemur and you'll have to buy a special Bluetooth obd2 sensor to make it work. Dex says the APP is free, the Bluetooth is $100. It's only for android and iPhones only

I was looking at something similar about a month ago, and you can get the bluetooth connection for a lot cheaper on Amazon. The App for the models I was looking at were under $3.
