I was picking up a load of trees the other day and they had this truck sitting by the loading dock , it looks like a 60s Chevy but it has the factory torsion bar independent front suspension .

That is cool. I would like something (modified with new gear, modern drive train and brakes) to pull my boat around. I could then replace my truck with a more appropriate daily driver.

Very nice!
My wife would even let me get one of the those, she likes old trucks.
There is a 1950ish Ford 1.5ton(?) chassis cab dually around here that she likes the looks of.

Did it look like a vehicle that someone was still using?

Or something that was just sitting there rotting away?

Work with a guy who has a 1965 Chevy tandem axle grain/dump truck. He thinks it has a 409 in it. Will post pics when he sends me some, truck is 2hrs away from me so I'm not planning on swinging by just for pics No
