MS is laying off 18,000 or 14.1% of it's 127,000 employees over the next year. Alleged most of this is around Nokia device programs. These aren't low wage jobs either. But we're told the recovery is going great. How long have we been recovering now? 4+ years?

What does the market share data look like?
Is MS losing share to others or is the entire segment (nokia type devices) shrinking?

12,000 of those jobs are from the Nokia mobile phone business, which was a bad investment by Microsoft.
